Saturday, 2.31, Bali.

Seeing you happy is like
Watching the sun
Slowly sets into the horizon
I am but a gull
Staring blankly into your
Spectrums of warmth;
Basking in your
Foamy waves of laughter
And your muted tunes
Of serenity
While your salty breeze
Blows behind my neck
Telling me that
It’s okay to lose myself
In the distance.
But sunsets don’t last a lifetime
Just like your smile,
They appear once in a while
To vanish into eternal darkness
With tiny sparks of light;
But you are not a sunset,
You have the ability to stay after dark
And dilute ourselves into delayed yearning,
And sparks of sanity.
